MEET FRED

Shaping Futures

Through Education

and Empowerment

Fred Yeakey, a distinguished educator and leader, has dedicated over 17 years to transforming lives through education, currently serving as the Chief Partnership Officer at Providence Cristo Rey High School. Fred began his career as a Team Leader at the St. Vincent Unity Development Center Afterschool program, Fred quickly became known for his unwavering commitment to empowering the marginalized and overlooked. His educational philosophy centers on challenging students to rise above their circumstances and embrace their potential.

Throughout his expansive 15-year career, Fred has made his mark in a variety of educational settings, including public, charter, and private schools. His journey took a pivotal turn four years ago when he stepped into an administrative role, further amplifying his influence. Today, he stands out as a sought-after Educational Consultant, renowned for his keynote speeches and workshops. His eloquent addresses cover a spectrum of topics, from cultural awareness and diversity to mentorship, vision, purpose, and equity, resonating with educators, administrators, parents, students, professional boards, and faith-based organizations.

Fred's academic journey is as impressive as his professional one. A proud alumnus of Kentucky State University, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration, honing his leadership skills as a scholarship recipient in the marching and symphonic band. His passion for education led him to Marian University, where he earned a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree and a Building Level Administration Certificate.

One of Fred's most notable contributions is the establishment of "The Barbershop Male Mentoring Initiative". Recognizing the struggles of young men grappling with identity and purpose, this initiative focuses on mentoring, education, and retention, aiming to inspire these young men to graduate and positively impact their communities.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Fred is a dedicated family man, sharing his life with his wife, Danijel, and their three children. His commitment to family and community underlines everything he does. Working with Fred, you'll find his authenticity and care for the community charms in both the barbershop and the boardroom.

"At the end of my career, I want to create enough inspiration that my works are not celebrated as a monument, but as a movement."
